Going your way?

• Perhaps the most direct route from Calais to the South coast of France is to take the A26, A5, to Dijon. A6 by- passing Lyon to montelimar and A7 to the coast. Approx 750 miles. Motorway and tolls all the way.
• On our way home we found that we had a little more time so we tried the A51 motorway North getting off at Junction 23 onto the N25 to Grenoble. An extremely pretty route, breathtaking views and only a couple of villages to pass through. Basically keeping East of our way down South.
